From Love to Lust...

Deep Love

So deep I sowed
rooted there my love.
My feelings so strong and scented
by infinite bounds they grew every second.

But you said you were leaving
someone had swept your heart.
And I just stood there seeing
smiling with a broken heart.

Don't you feel bad we are falling apart?
I tried to confront, but words just thwart(ed).
Day and night in regret, I whined
Your thoughts, to knock'em off I wine-d.

So, deep I shoved
buried there my love.
My feelings though not wilted
incomplete now, my Love it's meaningless & tinted.

Epilogue

Dupe Love

I thought Love is one big Illusion
only to realise it was my own Delusion.
For soon I met a beautiful dame
And I fell in Love again without any shame.

It's been so characteristic of me to write sad poems. I do not know if its because I find it easy or if I like ending on a sad note. The Epilogue was delibrately added and is dedicated to Chetana whos been coaxing my to write happy poems. However, I felt I ended it with Lust. Well, I hope you will agree that its a good start. The title was changed from "Deep Love" to "Deep Love - Dupe Love" and finally to "From Love to Lust".

Post Epilogue

The Cylindrical Theory prevails.

Prevaling of Cydrical theory was felt here.
Good one machi. That was rhyming and miming to deep.

My lateral theory on luv is
"Every pure love has a prior love"

Possibility.

liked the way you started it...

"But you said you were leaving
someone had swept your heart.
And I just stood there seeing
smiling with a broken heart"...romba touching aa irrukku...

the epilogue was quite compassionate
.....Everyone has the ability of making someone happy, some by entering the room, others by leaving it..:)

Logic: Every pue love love has a prior love may or may not be true .. but when u realise ur pure love the prior love becomes infactuation..

Mystery: Ur last lines are true indeed. The problem arises only when some people walk in and out constantly

Viji: For Cylindrical theory read my previous post "Theories of Love". Read the comments section if you do not get it.

Ramesh: what does that mean. Can be your guest only if I write two more poems with those titles??

Madsies,Ramesh & Dinks: Nanri hai.

Do you know that lust is very meaningful too?
Many make it out to be a very superficial thing..

Lust is to the mind also beyond the body!

hi vishious circle poet...

Thanks for dropping by.. and i was amazed to note that you are interested to glory the sadness as i do. No flash back.most of the scribblings are not of my personal life of experience but those that i am part in others life or a part of my life with vivid imagination.

Most of my scribblings will end with a note of sadness because i enjoy glorying the pain.

living the pain
is pleasure.

Ranga: well intha social issues ellam adikadi ezhuthina.. newpaper mari ayidum da blog... as for my poems.. I do not attempt to write sad one delibrately.. nor does it reflect ne reality..

Veda: enna ippadi sollitinga. ena etho 'Playboy' nu nenaichitingala..
as I said I only intented to write the first part (Deep Love).. the Lust part was added just to end it on a merrier note... finally the Cyl theory for fun. Na rombha nalla pulla.

Vinesh: Lust might to be meaningful. I think people say it to be superficial only for the reason that its temporary.

Ajay: Pundit nu sollathinga pa... apporom class students ahh sight adikka mudiyathu. Na student aah ve irukken.. vathi ya mingina student nu vena sollungo..

Known Stranger: yep... to gloryfy the pain and take pleasure in it..
sometimes I feel like a masochist..

Deepa: You should get the meaning of the Cyl Theory if you have read my post on "Love Theories" completely.. and then the Epilogue and Post Epilogue of my poem "From Love to Lust"...

Finally to everyone: I see that many of you have still not understood the meaning of 'The Cylindrical Theory' now if you really can't make it out I will go ahead and let it out blatantly.. juz let me know if I should or just leave it to the readers to interpret.
