The Drive...

It was a long and lonely drive,
and I just wanted to get farther.
Past the horizon, deep into the cosmos
the world had thrown me away.

Lush green grass,
swinging sunflowers.
Wind mills by the corn field,
butterflies of every color.
It was fine indeed,
the beauty of NATURE.

The sun came up and it went down,
the cool gentle breeze,
the smell of sand,
the sound of the gushing river
the glowing full moon
and yet I felt all alone.

Mile by mile the journey went ahead,
past the mountains, across the rivers,
past the deserts and swampy forests,
the journey went ahead, with no one by my side.

It was a long and lonely drive,
and I just wanted to get farther.
So far from the world, I was castaway,
No, rather from life, I was running away...
